By default, 3DIQ will parse and create editable versions of candidate resumes. However, there may be some instances where you want to display or use the candidate's original resumes, instead of the parsed one. Common reasons why our users choose to display the candidate's original resume include:
Document parsing issues
Desire to retain the resume's visual elements or layout
Desire to use an existing or already created resume packet.
No need to edit or remove contact information on candidate resumes
Whatever the reason, 3DIQ allows you to bypass the parsed resume and display resume documents in their original form. Toggle the option on to display the original parsed resume (default is off). There are two places where the Display Original Resume option is found. One is under the ... menu next to the candidate name.
The second is in the Candidate Profile section next to the Edit Candidate button.
Now, when you view the candidate's resume, you'll see an embedded version of the resume displayed in it's native form. 3DIQ will automatically detect the file type and display the resume using either Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF Viewer. This provides for the best viewing experience and doesn't require your client to download any additional programs to view.
Please note, using "Display Original Resume" doesn't allow you to edit the resume document, so please make any edits before adding the resume to the candidate's Files tab in Bullhorn.
